Star Valley '08

Entering the valley on a very drizzly Friday afternoon... we didn't care, we know if you wait 5 minutes or drive 5 miles it'll be a different season
This is the "Star" on the hill
Our Favorite Cabins
Break in the storm - just in time for a beautiful sunset
What do you do when it's raining all day... play Texas Hold'em
Abby & Brenna trying out Jeremy's long board
Pretty flowers on Dad's headstone - look the grass has finally filled in
The whole fam-damily
and the rain started again
Yes - the WT gang hanging out on the porch just before the wind storm
Pretty spot to go shootin'
Janna's first time and she hits the clay pigeon - go Janna!
Jason showing off his skills
Modeling the difference - with and without headgear
Deb got a pigeon too
Sunday in Yellowstone... it was the prettiest day of the weekend

Claire was enjoying being out of the car, she kept trying to run away so her mommy gave her a ride
Old Faithful - I took a video of it going... it's really not that exciting, you have to be there
Inside the Inn... this place is soooo cool, over 100 years old... I loved the clock and all the unique architecture

I think they just got a little bit of snow this year??? yah think??
Grand Teton's - there was a cloud that wouldn't move off the tip of the mountain the whole time we were there.

Will include... highlights, history, videos, places to go, facts, pictures, etc...
Once Blogger releases it, because they think I'm a robot and going to spam.... nice to know they're watching out.

Trader Joe's

I'm starting a campaign to get Trader Joe's into Utah.
I have been trying to find some items this week and my search would have been much easier if there was a Trader Joe's within 300 miles. I was on their website earlier and found that they have a location request form. http://traderjoes.com/contact_us_selection.html (choose "location request" in the drop down)
If we can bombard them with emails about coming to Utah, they might get the hint (finger's crossed). Even if they had to get rid of their wines, they would do so good up here! Tell everyone you know, that also loves Trader's.

We need them here!!!

Thank you for your support!

Birthday Week...

*(this was the 3rd try at doing a layout - the first 2 my computer "hiccuped" and lost everything. Not what I had planned but it was getting late)

My birthday week was really fun. It started with our joint family Mother's Day/Birthday BBQ at the Harrisons.... very yummy.

Then dinner with family on Wednesday and Thursday (gotta spread out the fun)

Thursday morning, the girls woke up and started screaming that there was stuff all over my car... Deb got up early and tagged my car...(see pictures). And put up a sign in the front window. (love her!?!)

At work I received a delivery of flowers from Mom & the Harrisons - loved them!

Then on Saturday Wendy, Jenn and Stephanie kidnapped me for the day. We started in SLC at Ruth's diner (old place up Emigration Canyon), good food and the perfect afternoon to eat out on the patio - I LOVE spring! After we went back the Springville, to pick-up Stephanie and "supplies", I didn't know were we were heading next.
We headed south and stopped in Price, (don't laugh). We went to see a friend of Jenn's that is an energy reader among other things. Really nice, strong active member of the church, and she read me. I love this stuff, I don't take it as truth but she was pretty close on a lot of things and gave me some advice of somethings that I'm already working on... it was fun.
Then we drove around the city and found a really pretty park (I know we were shocked to find it too). And they pulled out a cooller full of my favorite foods... pasta salad, chicken, pineapple, chips & Salsa, and peanut butter & chocolate cake and cookies - random menu but it was yummy. It was awesome! Beautiful afternoon to just be able to chill - OUTSIDE! It was the end of a great week, (THANKS GIRLS - IT WAS PERFECT!)

Going for a walk

Everyone was out side on Sunday going for a walk. The girls took Claire for a walk too, I caught this shot of her looking back.... wonder what she's thinking. She's getting to big to fast.

GNO - Pics

I lost me cable to download my pictures, so I'm a little slow
Mom's Citrus water... really refreshing..... and it's all about the presentation
The girls huddled around the laptops learning some tricks from Amy.
This is what I did... all by myself...yeah! Now I need to do something else before I forget what I learned
Thanks Amy and everyone who brought treats!
