Road Trip???

Ok - I had to take a break from the piles of junk on my desk because I'm about to strangle the "boys" I work with who think it's great to give me stuff to do without explaining then not answer their phones when I have a list of questions.... (sorry about the rant)

So I went to my happy place Disneygeek.com to see what I'm missing out on in the Happiest Place on Earth.....

My only question is who's up for a road trip and can we leave now???

Doesn't the castle look AWESOME!!! Yes I am tearing up as I look at this.... I'm sick I know, but I miss it!!!!!! (I haven't been in 1-1/2 years!!!!)

Like I said Any one who wants to escape for a couple of days - I'm ready to go!!!

Random shots from Thanksgiving day

My first "self portrait" with Brenna...

Claire thinking she's a big girl and trying to climb all over her daddy

Seth checking me out... I love his big blue eyes

The ads came out as soon as dinner was cleaned up... crazy people

Had to document the "Lips"

Turkey for me...Turkey for you

Thanksgiving day 2007 at the Harrisons...

The kids are waiting patiently for the food to come

Everyone else waiting for all the food to be ready to eat

The Harrison men enjoying a quiet moment after dinner

I think this picture says it all... note the sweet potatoe smear on her face... she enjoyed her first Thanksgiving dinner

2 YEARS!!!!

I thought about this the other day... but forgot until this morning that it was 2 years ago today that I left CA and came to Utah, time sure has flown by.... with really nothing really exciting to show for it...hum??? I know I'm supposed to be here and I am a happy to be close to family and have a good job... yadda yadda yadda, but I will always be a Californian and defend it, and make fun of every funny Utah I can (gotta have some entertainment).

Here are some things I miss about the great smoggy state of CA...

First GNO (girls night out)

We had our first G.N.O. party. Tonight agenda was bread making... Diane's Oatmeal Bread and Jodi's Wheat Bread.
We had a ball... cooking eating and yacking... what could be better.
Deb and Amy making sure the mixer's still going
Ruth Ann reading from Chef Brad's book, giving us helpful hints

Our teacher's taking a break while the bread cooks... see we had some healthy veggies too

Hand's on cooking.... making cinnamon pull-a-part with the wheat dough

Before cooking

cooked...

After .... nummy nummy nummy

Special thanks to our teachers!
It was lots of fun to have "girl" talk, eat and enjoy having family together and learn from each other.
